The Fleet. If you are looking at the stage there's a door to the right of the stage. Go through there and turn left into the corridor and the oldies room is on the right hand side of the corridor. It was like a small classroom with kids pictures on the wall with the tables and chairs removed. It was open every nighter I went to there from 78 on.

I was told that the red mid 70s issue was a legitimate re issue pressed with the original stamps. I have no evidence to say one way or another- its just what I was told many years ago. So, are the red mid/late 70s jobs boots or legitimate? Any one know?

I thought that the scarlet issues were 1970s re-issues where as the original issues are a deep pink colour as the photo above. Just looked at my pink issue (same as photo) & it has a delta number of 61050 putting it firmly in 1966. I was told that the red (scarlet) issues were pressed using the same stampers - Does this mean they still have a 61050 delta number even though they were pressed in 76/77 ?

Some of the copies have the raised numbers but are almost impossible to detect. The best way to find them is to take a picture on your phone & then expand the image. This is my copy. Unless you zoom the image you can't see them on either side, but they are there.

Yes, spot on Derek I remember seeing Edwin and the Ric Tic review at Hinkley all nighter....early 82 I think. Bearing in mind that it was a sports hall and is further north than Bristol I guess that's what she was on about. Doesn't explain why Hinkley wasnt mentioned by name though. I've yet to meet anyone who can't remember the name of their 1st nighter.

I have my settings set to private as I take the line that my mates can always pop round to see what I have and anyone else who wants to know has suspicious motives. Anyway the point of this post is the question am I mistaken in thinking Joe Bloggs can't see what I have on Discogs just because I have my settings on private?

Friendly People seldom comes up these days though. It took me quite a while to get a copy but I agree, not that rare its just most copies sit in collections & aren't for sale.....That price is just plain mad.
