  1. Ive also heard The Salvadors in Co-op Wareham and one Saturday afternoon around 5 years ago I walked past a Thai restaurant in Ringwood and almost broke into a dance to Tobi Legend! Matt Brown is a 'modern' to y ears but a great choon
  2. Morrisons cafe, Weymouth was playing Bobby Hebb Love, Love, Love a month or so ago.
  3. I hated the dance comps and always took a quick exit to Mr M's. It always put a downer on the evening, watching a bunch of posers, most of whom couldn't dance to the music that was playing.
  4. JM always seems to get top money, but then again the records are always in absolutely the best condition. I have bought a few 'Manship Mints' over the years.
  5. Maybe the cheapest of the bunch but Johnny Sayles is probably my favourite, but the others are difficult to resist for any collector of British label soul like me. I just wish that they didn't all come along at once, if I win more than one my wife will go nuts! But it will be worth it, for a while.
  6. Hi Please would you reply to my messages. Thanks Paul
  7. Those of us who are old enough and probably ugly enough will remember when all of these were just regular choons. Personally I love all 3 or 4 and used to really enjoy hearing and dancing to them as part of the night, rather than just as the enders. Just my oppinion.
  8. I know that Joe Dunlop sold a copy very recently for around £1000, it is a rare UK record and has much better sound quality than the US copies and is prized by collectors of British labels and demos. Personally I think that £800-1000 is the right price range so whoever bought that one got a bargain and the seller is probably very disappointed because he will only get £545.60
  9. Not at all, I am a collector not a dealler so I am happy that the crazy days have gone.
  10. That's 2 copies of Frankie & Johnny that JM has sold recently and both have really undershot the true value and strange that the one in better condition went for less! Auctions can be strange sometimes, but one thing for sure, the crazy prices of the Covid era are now a thing of the past and there are some great records changing hands at more sensible prices.
  11. You pay the final auction price + postage. A lot of the records gthat JM sells are not his they are sent to him by collectors and dealers for him to sell. They do this because JM almost always gets a huge premium over 'normal' prices but he guarantees that all records are original and most are in fab condition. The seller pays the fees which from memory are 20% of the final price.
  12. Hi All I have 2 Club Wembley Premium tickets for this game, they are great seats almost on the half way line https://www.wembleystadium.com/plan-your-visit/stadium-guide/view-from-your-seat# and include a voucher for food and drink. Wembley were reselling these for £500 each but as it is late I will except £500 for the pair. They are etickets so would besent by email. Anyone wjo may be concerned that they are not genuine can call me at work and check out my company website, payment by Paypal please. thanks Paul
  13. Does this mean that it is down to the same few of us to spend the next week emailing the seller and calling him out and sending complaints to eBay again or is someone else going to have a go and help out as well? The more people who bombard him and ebay the more chance there is of stopping these crooks.
  14. He told me that he would inform the buyer that it was a reissue. I told him that if he didn;yt I would put a $3k bid on it and then complain to ebay so he said that he would cancle the sale. All I can say is that I hope that he has.
